Spank Rock recently went out on on the ‘Check Yo Ponytail! tour’ in the US alongside Wavves, Pictureplane, Freelandia and The Death Set. We’ve heard great things about Spank Rock’s live show lately and these pictures from Spin suggest it’s not a show to miss.

Eleanor Friedberger has laid claim to our hearts this year with one of the best solo debuts for some time. She is, of course, also one half of one of the best duos of the last decade as well – The Fiery Furnaces. Plenty of ammo then, for a Spotify round-up of her career as it stands. Celebrate her here:
