We’re pleased to announce Alex Burey will be playing May 28th.
Alex Burey’s old-world vocals, harmonics and stories belie his 19 years. From Scott Walker to Rotary Connection and Aphex Twin to Art Of Noise, his references are many and varied. The music he’s released so far suggests a musical mind of much imagination and inventiveness. Debut EP ‘Inside World’ is charming, with bags of sun-kissed soul, instrumental flourishes and melodic filigrees that’ll stay with you for a long time after hearing them.
We are very excited to announce a Field Day pre party with The Vryll Society plus RongoRongo at the Shacklewell Arms on 28 May.
The Vryll Society from Liverpool have been locked away in their hazy rehearsal space creating and bringing togethertheir wonderful sound.
After long days of liquid jams, and crafted songwriting, interlaced with touches of Funkadelic and Aphrodites Child, a rich ocean of sound has come to the surface.

Michigan post-hardcore quintet La Dispute have revealed the date of their long-awaited next venture to UK shores – May 26th will see the group unite with fellow experimental hardcore gang Fucked Up for a co-headline date in the rich surroundings of London’s Koko.
Following dates at Reading & Leeds in August and a packed UK headliner last spring, the group will return to London for a night that will bring together two of the genre’s most forward-thinking acts. Last year’s Rooms Of The House LP saw La Dispute push their intentions further than ever before, and the regal surroundings of Koko will see their sonic beauty flourish.
La Dispute are vocalist Jordan Dreyer, guitarist Chad Morgan-Sterenberg, bassist Adam Vass and drummer Brad Vander Lugt.

We’re pleased to welcome back Hælos for a show at XOYO on May 21st.
After quietly posting Dust on Facebook, people quickly started sharing Hælos’ debut track, The Line of Best Fit made it Song of the Day… and the next thing the band knew, it was #1 on Hype Machine, Zane Lowe had cherry-picked it for his Next Hype record and it was getting plays on KCRW. A incredible achievement for an act so early into their music making careers.
We are thrilled to announce a new show with Sweet Baboo releasing their latest album ‘The Boombox Ballads’ at London Fields Brewery in Hackney on Thursday 21 May.
Sweet Baboo is Stephen Black, a native of the north Wales countryside and a single-minded, idiosyncratic singer. Black possesses an ear for a sparkling melody, a restless soul, and a gift for a deft lyrical turn – from darkly funny to piercingly tender, twinklingly boastful to deliciously self-deprecating.
