Bab L’ Bluz

SIMO LAGNAWI / GNAWA LONDON
Jazz Cafe
Saturday 15 March 2025

7PM · £20+BF · 18+
Bab L’ Bluz are reclaiming the blues for North Africa. Their new album Swaken is eleven tracks that spark with kinetic, pedal-to-the-metal energy, rooted as much in psychedelic blues, funk and rock as in the trancey, propulsive rhythms of northern Africa’s Maghreb.

DANA GAVANSKI
EartH Theatre
Saturday 15 March 2025
Sold Out

7PM · £19.50+BF · 16+

It’s been 20 years since Tunng’s genre-blurring, self-styled ‘pagan folktronica’ first emerged from an east London studio. Tunng’s eighth studio album, Love You All Over Again, is a winning amalgam of texture and melody, disconcerting imagery and shapeshifting production.

Due to high demand, the venue for this show has been upgraded from OMEARA to EartH Theatre.

Support comes from Dana Gavanski.

KEG

KNOWN FOR + OTALA
KEG VAN JUKEBOX (AFTERPARTY DJ SET)
The Lexington
Thursday 13 March 2025
Sold Out

8PM · £12.50+BF · 18+
Erupting from a frenzied passion for the ‘song’, Keg toe a fine line between the angular throb of contemporary post-rock sensibilities and a timeless necessity for harmony and meticulous songwriting. Taking hints and tips from their forebears Minutemen, Fugazi and Radio 4 the band intend to confound genre, but mainly stick to the rock arena.
Armed with 7 musicians, Keg creates a frantic chaotic energy. They return with their anxiously awaited debut ‘Fun’s Over’ early 2025, and the chaos will ensue.

Support comes from Otala + Known For.
Plus afterparty with Keg Van Jukebox DJ set from 11pm – late.

Harvey Causon

UMA + MAGNUS WESTWELL
ICA
Thursday 27 February 2025

7:30PM · £15+BF · 18+
Breaking through Bristol’s ever-experimental music scene with his first releases in 2017, Harvey Causon has built a reputation as an artist with a truly singular voice and songwriting ability. The singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist’s slew of EPs have been championed by BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, NME, DIY, Clash, Metal and Notion.

Harvey Causon’s debut album Square Breath is out now. Across the 13 tracks, this graceful, atmospheric record brims with shifting ambient textures, underscored by skittering grooves. An album that is both deeply personal in its content, but created in an ultra-collaborative way, it is a breathtakingly complex yet immediate album that cements his position as one of British music’s brightest sparks.
