Stephen Black aka Sweet Baboo gew up in rural North Wales, and sings in both English and Welsh. His latest album, The Boombax Ballads, was released in August 2014, and is ‘a heady mix of wit, emotive lyrics and stellar musical craftmanship’.

It feels like London’s Jagaara have been threatening to invade our collective hearts and ears for a while now. Originally The Edmondsons, they grew a devoted following for their folk soaked pop.
Changing their name and their sound, the three sisters picked up love from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit and obvious Haim comparisons as their songwriting seemed to linger on the West Coast with sunshine riffs and breathy harmonies.
