We’re happy to announce the amazing Fujiya & Miyagi will be playing at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in December!
Brighton-based Fujiya & Miyagi have been making expansive, experimental and multifaceted electronic-driven music for over fifteen years now. As an outfit they have been as successful in their investigations into bleep as they have elongated Krautrock wig outs, and creating breathy electro pop as fiercely as they do post-punk-indebted scratchy dance.
We’re very excited to announce Washed Out will be playing at Heaven in December!
The music recorded by Ernest Greene as Washed Out has been nothing if not dreamy, but for his second full-length, he’s taken the idea of letting your mind wander to another state a huge leap further. On ‘Paracosm’, out Aug. 13 on Sub Pop, the Georgia-based musician explores the album’s namesake phenomenon, where people create detailed imaginary worlds.
Baio will be back in London for a headline show at the MOTH Club!
Baio, the solo project of Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio, followed up a string ofEPs (Mira EP, Sunburn EP) with his full-length debut, The Names, in September 2015. Chris’ solo work is a continuation of his time as a college radio DJ, where he first fell in love with electronic music. “What I wanted to feel with this record was that it’s not a band record, it’s not a solo record and it’s not a producer record, but a combination of all three. I wanted to create a space where almost anything could happen”.
