RAIN MACHINE is the new solo project from TV ON THE RADIO’s Kyp Malone. Kyp describes his album as "a nearly full spectrum of frequencies audible to the human ear, a reflection of a variety of emotions and situations real and imagined - some rhythm some rhyme." This statement is grounded by Malone’s skills as a songwriter, proven in his years as TVOTR’s singer and guitarist.
This very personal music features a mixture of elements of modern jazz, blue-grass and blistering guitar driven rock into a refreshing new sound, the sound of an extraordinary artist emerging into his own.

After a string of successes, LOCAL NATIVES headline London’s Shepherds Bush Empire this summer.
The Los Angeles quintet makes music that crackles with frenetic beats, agile melodies and cascading harmonies, tightly assembled in songs that advocate, in varying degrees of exuberance and wonderment. Their harmonic style is indicative of the influence of hazy beach bums of 60s SoCal and zombified Brit pop, while their percussion philosophy derives from somewhere more natural: a unifying connection between the five-piece developed over hours spent living together in their own guerilla hideaway in Silverlake, California. The album has the warmth and instant attraction of hearing the Fleet Foxes, mid period Talking Heads or Band of Horses for the first time.
